Welcome to Ross Photo Club

Welcome to our local, friendly club for anyone interested in photography - whether that is using your phone, a simple camera or some of best equipment on the market today.  We enjoy seeing what members have created using their cameras, learning about new techniques from experts and seeing the work of some of some very talented speakers.  Whatever your interest, please do have a look around and come and see us when we meet (our Season is September - May each year).  Plus there is always project group which meets throughout the year for some interesting challenges.

You can always come along for free for your first two sessions to see if you like the club.  Just turn up and you will receive a warm welcome.

We had an interesting session on 19th February from Simon Williams using old cameras and film.  His camera, and the image he created during the evening are below.

The rough ’n' ready negative (inverted) shows three gentlemen on the right who have come out particularly well.  The Camera was an 1890s "Tailboard" half plate camera with a Rodenstock F4.5, 21cm lens from c1915 on F25 exposed for 4s. Film: “Blue": Agfa X ray film ISO 200
